• From here it is sealed, franked and stacked - automatically and quietly - at speeds of up to 170 letters a minute.
• As with any other Pitney Bowes products, the system is remarkably easy to use. At the centre of the U561 is an electronic console which - thanks to an in-built diagnostic system - monitors the system, and allows its various functions to be adjusted at the touch of a button.
• To help process over-sized mail, the U561 has an automatic labelling system, and each label roll has capacity for up to 1,300 mail pieces.
• To keep productivity high, the U561 can process sealed and unsealed mail together and, thanks to its ingenious design, any jams can be cleared with minimal disruption.
• The U561 can be configured with a number of different meters, electronic scales and accounting systems, depending on customer requirements. It can also be directly linked to a Pitney Bowes folder-inserter, so that folding, inserting, sealing and franking become a single automatic operation.
